Social Crusaders

Sarvodaya mitra mandali is striving to become a powerful catalyst for social transformation.

"Sarvodaya" implying boost, progression and moving forwardness, a term coined by Mahatma Gandhi. We have been working closely with village panchayats and the local government administration to improve the state of affairs across rural india. Primarily focusing on education, healthcare, agriculture, environment and the infrastructure in and around rural india. We are a group of ambitious individuals that want to help build and support the backbone of our country, Rural India. Our organisation consists of professionals from all walks of life that want to lend a hand in building this great nation.

K Karthik

Karthik is a farmer by heart and a public servant by choice. He is passionate about improving living conditions in rural India. He is an avid lover of nature and ardent proponent of going green. He is an avid quizzer and in his free time Karthik loves to teach kids, swim and cultivate crops.

Krishna Kanth E

Krishna Kanth is an electronic chip designer and a budding entrepreneur. He is an advocate of transparency and accountability in governance. He loves traveling, meeting new people, understanding their culture and most importantly trying out their cuisine

Abhinav Bhascker D

Abhinav is a strategic and analytical professional with an MBA in Finance from a Public Ivy League school in the US and more than 5 years of corporate success. Abhinav uses cutting-edge business strategies to increase his company’s revenues and bolster customer image. He is an ardent traveller who enjoys experiencing different cultures and trying out local cuisines. He is also an aspiring politician who cares deeply for the welfare of the socially disadvantaged. He is steering the initiatives of Sarvodaya in Warangal, Telangana.

Chandra

Chandra is a chemical (paper) engineer from IIT Roorkee and was a Prime Minister Fellow in PMRD Fellowship. He aims to organise farmers into producer companies.Chandra is an avid reader, culture lover and a traveller.

Capt. Dr. C.M.Ravi Kumar

Dr. Ravi is an indian railway medical professional & alumni of kurnool medical college. He is serving as a Captain in the Indian Territorial Army. He strongly believes in the adage:"Prevention is better than Cure" and handles the various initiatives of the trust to improve nutrition, health and sanitation in the villages we are working on.He loves to paint and cooking for friends for friends is his favorite pastime.

Manasa G

Manasa is a lawyer by education and a social worker at heart. After her education from the Law school, Cornell University she has worked for initiatives of the World Bank in rural Rajasthan. He ardently espouses the empowerment of women and advocates gender equality. She is professional dancer in Bharatanatyam and loves to travel in her free time. She is pursuing her further education at University of Berkeley, Usa.

Nisheeth N

Nisheeth is a B.E.(Hons.) in Mechanical Engineering from the Birla institute of Technology and Science, Goa currently employed as Campaign Manager at Google. He believes that improving infrastructure and providing convenient access to technology are cornerstones to development and drives the initiatives of Sarvodaya in those spheres. He loves to watch movies in his free time.

Avinash A

Avinash is a graduate in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. He has worked in the Oil Exploration Sector at Schlumberger. Improving enrollment in villages schools and preventing dropouts are primarily on his agenda. In his spare time he likes to swim, travel and read.

Srikanth Reddy M

Srikanth Reddy is an officer in The Indian Engineering Service currently working as Assistant Director, Central Electricity Authority, Ministry of Power, Govt. Of India. He has done his Masters in Power Electronics from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He loves teaching Electrical Engineering, and passionate about leveraging technology to improve standards of living in rural areas. He lover trekking and travelling during his free time.

A mission started to make rural india self sustainable and provide Indian Villages with the resources to help boost the quality of life. Needless to say, we had the opportunity to work and create awareness by taking up the initiatives with institutes, organisations and initiatives to provide supplies for schools, medical camps for rural villages and creating awareness regarding the environment etc.

Lekcon Infrastructure

Lekcon helped us initiate a primary health care centre to reach rural parts of India. Providing a platform sarvodaya Mitra Mandali.

Case study

An attempt to make villages better, we decided to start from a village school. We decided to help Zilla Parishad High School, Gottimukla. Like most rural schools in India this school too lacks adequate infrastructure. The school has no functional toilets or reliable electricity.

PLACE

Zilla Parishad High School, Gottimukla had insufficient school equipment and the staff was constrained from providing the children with a better learning environment.

PROBLEM

The lack of facilities and inadequate equipment were the main concerns that the school faced WIth no functional toilets or reliable electricity, the school had no benches at all for the wards to sit and write. All the students from class 1 to 10 sit on the ground during their class hours.

SOLUTION

We decided to raise money and provide benches to the school to make learning comfortable and instill in the wards a sense of belonging towards their school.

ZPHS GOTTIMUKLA

Case study

The L V Prasad Eye Institute was established in 1987 in Hyderabad as a not-for-profit, non-government eye care institution. The mission of LVPEI is to provide "equitable and efficient eye care to all sections of society." Sarvodaya Mitra Mandali Trust partnered with the L V Prasad Eye Institute and conducted a comprehensive eye camp in the Gottimukla Village, Vikarabad.All the 250 school students and about 500 villagers were screened for eye defects.

PLACE

PROBLEM

The rural village had inadequate clinics for health checkups, this was an alarming issue which we had to address.

SOLUTION

They were prescribed spectacles or were referred for cataract surgeries. the entire exercise was conducted in 3 phases, the screening camp, the surgeries and the distribution of the spectacles if it is necessary for the patient.

GOTTIMUKLA VILLAGE

Case study

2016, A drought that has indeed rendered farmers helpless and broken, with insufficient water and We decided to adopt a farmer and help alleviate his condition as much as we can. After nearly working for over 100 days, we transformed a barren piece of land into something the farmer can be proud of and grow. Letting people know that they always have an opportunity, for change and growth.

MISSION SUJALAM

Under the Government scheme, Mission Kakatiya. We were providing, help and finding alternative ways to help farmers with finding resources for irrigation and cultivation.

PROBLEM

An initiative to help farmers and provide them means and ends for cultivation and by providing them the basic necessity in farming, Water.

SOLUTION

we transformed a barren piece of land into something the farmer can be proud of and grow. Letting people know that they always have an opportunity, for change and growth. And the availability of govt schemes for making the lives of farmers better is what we wanted to improve on in this.
